Staxy is a catalogue for your development infrastructure: servers, domains, SSL certificates, buckets, databases and the rest — with prices and renewal dates in one place. It answers two questions that spreadsheets keep failing at: what am I paying for, and what expires next.
Staxy is not a monitoring tool. It does not ping your servers or watch uptime. It tracks the ownership side of infrastructure: where a resource lives, what it costs, and when it needs to be renewed.
First steps
- Sign up and open the dashboard. The dashboard shows your monthly spend and the nearest renewals as soon as you have data.
- Add a provider. A provider is where you buy — a hosting company, a registrar, a cloud. Providers carry their own renewal dates and group your units.
- Add your first units. A unit is a single resource you pay for: a VPS, a domain, an SSL certificate, an S3 bucket, a database, a DNS zone, a mailbox, a SaaS subscription or an IP address. Set the price, the billing period and the next payment date — that is all Staxy needs.
- Group units into projects. Projects answer "what does this client/product cost me" — one unit can serve several projects.
What you get immediately
- A renewals calendar with everything that expires, sorted by urgency.
- Reminders by email and Telegram before each renewal — 7 days, 3 days, 1 day ahead and on the day itself, plus overdue notices. Reminders are a Pro feature; on the free tier the renewals calendar is yours to check, but Staxy sends no messages.
- A spend total converted into your base currency.
The free tier is enough to keep a small stack under control; Pro raises the limits, turns on renewal reminders, and adds import/export for whole infrastructures.
